Is ECOWAS relevant?

As an alumnus of the large family network of the International Institute for Journalism (IIJ) based in Germany, I had the chance to meet the participants of the just ended ECOWAS reporting course in Accra, Ghana.

My mission with them was simple – to give an hour presentation on blogging. As the 12 participants from different ECOWAS countries fixed their curious and expectant gaze on me, I recalled exactly same time and month in 2007 when I was in one of the seats in the same course at the same venue – Ghana International Press Centre. How time flies.

This video encapsulates the impression of the participants of the course.
